Therapy offers a space to build connection and community - a place where you can feel the most heard and seen. The first step to therapy may be scary at first. I believe that therapy is an invitation to be courageous and explore our authentic selves. I encourage both of us to genuinely show up and work collaboratively throughout sessions.
When we reach our goals, we gain insight into how to realistically and gently hold that as human beings we are a work in progress. Recognizing changes in your present self might look like feeling more hopeful for the future, leaning in curiosity, or becoming more comfortable with the discomfort that reality can have.
I strive to work alongside you through a warm, person centered, and holistic approach while ensuring that you feel empowered with your decisions without judgement. My goal is to create a brave space where you can both celebrate and grieve your personal growth.
Since 2019, Cindy has worked in the mental health field gaining diverse experience across research and clinical settings, including at Perinatal Support Washington, International Community Health Services, University of Washington, Child & Adolescent Clinic, and Oregon Health & Sciences University.
She has had the privilege of working with a variety of populations, including AAPI communities, perinatal clients, children, families, and older adults.
