Kirkland EMDR Counseling provides consultation for providers, associates, and pre-licensed providers.

Consultation services are aligned to our organizational values, therefore we focus on the integration of anti-oppression and anti-racism within the therapeutic space focusing on individual and collaborative healing.

Our individual providers may also provide consultation based on the services listed in the next section and their specific specialties.

Consultation Topics

  • We provide consultation for providers who are looking to grow in the learning and application of EMDR as a modality. At this time, Chris Garrido-Philp, practice founder and clinical director, is our Consultant-In-Training (CIT) and can provide up to 15 hours (15 individual only, or 10 hours group/5 individual) of consultation towards EMDRIA certification.

    Pricing:

    • Individual consultation:

      • 1 hour meeting - $100

      • Scheduled individually per appointment

        • 10% discount for populations that experience oppression

      • Package Deal for Individual Consultation:

        • Five (5) consultations for $425 ($85 per hour)

          • Pre-Payment required

          • No additional discounts apply

    • Group Consultation:

      • 1 hour meeting - $40

      • Package Deal for Group Consultation: Five (5) consultations for $175 ($35 per hour)

        • Prepayment required.

      • No additional discounts apply for group consultation

  • We can help in exploring topics such as providing therapy services in Spanish, structuring services to increase Multilanguage accessibility, and cultural considerations for this population.

    Pricing:

    • 1 hour - $125

    • 10% discount for populations that experience oppression

  • We can explore how to provide therapy services that center of deconstruction of oppressive practices and liberation work in therapy and private/group practice.

    Pricing:

    • 1 hour - $125

    • 10% discount for populations that experience oppression

  • Chris Garrido-Philp, practice founder and clinical director, can support you in creating a plan of action, share resources, experience, and provide accountability to create your successful teletherapy insurance-based private practice in Washington state.

    Pricing:

    • 1 hour - $125

  • Our providers have various specialties and we can’t include them all in this list otherwise it would be too long! However, if you see a specialty from one of our providers’ About Page that you’d like consultation from, let us know by contacting us!

Consultation Policies

  • We schedule all consultation meetings through our EHR and our practice’s video platform, which requires setting up a client account and a card on file for appointments.

  • A grace period of 15 minutes is given from the start time of appointment. After 15 minutes it will be considered a no-show appointment.

  • A 24 hour cancellation notice is required. Late cancellations/no-shows are charged the no-show fee which is the price of a consultation appointment. If using a Package Deal, no reimbursement will be issued from that appointment.

  • Individual Consultation will be set up according to availability of both you and the consultant.
