Overview:

Kirkland EMDR Counseling is a 100% virtual group practice dedicated to clinical excellence, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care. We regularly host 60-minute remote training webinars for our clinical team to support their continued education and skill development. We invite qualified mental health professionals, associates, and subject matter experts to submit proposals for guest presentation topics.

Scope of Services:

  • Live Presentation: Prepare and deliver a 60-minute remote training session (50 minutes training, 10 minutes questions) via Kirkland EMDR Counseling’s video conferencing platform.

  • Material Submission (Strict Deadline): Prepare and submit a PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation at least 48 hours prior to the training session for distribution to attendees. (Note: Failure to submit materials by this deadline may result in payment delay or session cancellation).

  • Recording & License: Consent to live recording. The $250 fee grants Kirkland EMDR Counseling a royalty-free, perpetual license to use video recordings and slides strictly for internal staff education.

  • Value Alignment: Demonstrate clear alignment with Kirkland EMDR Counseling's core organizational values: Inclusivity, Equity, Curiosity, and Healthy Boundaries.

Compensation & Logistics:

  • Training Fee:$250 flat fee per 60-minute live presentation. This fee is all-inclusive (covering preparation, presentation time, slide creation, handouts, and internal recording rights).

  • Scheduling: Scheduled on Wednesdays at 11:00 AM Pacific Time, coordinated in advance.

  • Payment Terms: Payment is rendered via direct deposit within 1 month following the training session, provided all required training materials were submitted prior to the 48-hour deadline. (To respect your privacy, a Form W-9 is only required if cumulative compensation with our practice reaches or exceeds $600 within a calendar year).

  • Cancellation Policy: If Kirkland EMDR Counseling cancels with 7 days or less notice, you receive 100% of the fee; if canceled with more than 7 days notice, you receive 50%. No fee is paid if the Trainer cancels.

  • Relationship: This agreement is solely for the provision of a specific service and does not constitute employment or ongoing contractor status.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fully licensed or associate mental health professional (or recognized subject matter expert in a related field).

  • Demonstrated expertise in trauma treatment, EMDR, somatic approaches, parts work/IFS, cultural humility, anti-oppressive practice, or other specialized clinical modalities.
