Exclusions (Due to our 100% virtual model):Please note: As a telehealth-only practice, we are unable to accept patients experiencing active psychosis, severe active substance use disorders, or those requiring high-acuity crisis management.

We are committed to making specialized trauma care accessible. We offer both extensive in-network coverage and private-pay options.

Out-of-Network / Private Pay: * For clients utilizing out-of-network benefits or paying privately, we provide comprehensive superbills for them to submit for OON reimbursement.(Please note: We are unable to accept TRICARE, Medicare, or Dual Coverage billing at this time).

3. How to Refer a Patient

To ensure the highest quality of care and compliance, we ask that all patients complete their own initial request form. Please use one of the two methods below:

Option 1: Direct the Patient to Our Site

Please instruct your patient to visit kirklandemdr.com/contactus to fill out our New Client Appointment Request form. (If your care coordinator is with the patient now, they can assist them in filling this out together).

Option 2: Provide the Patient Handout Download and print our 1-page Patient Referral Sheet. It explains our services, accepted insurances, and includes a QR code the patient can scan to access our intake form directly.

4. What Happens Next?

Once the patient submits their secure form, our client support care team will reach out to them. If we have immediate openings, we will verify benefits and schedule their initial telehealth consultation. If our providers are currently full, we will confirm the patient's spot on our active waitlist and notify them as soon as a matching opening becomes available.
